At the recent GAC Group 2014 Qatar Open in Doha, Hong Kong shone in the Women’s Singles and Women’s Doubles events; Doo Hoi Kem and Ng Wing Nam reached the semi-final stage of the Women’s Singles event, whilst Ng Wing Nam partnered Lee Ho Ching to victory in the Women’s Doubles competition.

The success underlined the recent progress being made in Hong Kong, especially with regards to female players; at the Italian Junior and Cadet Open on Friday 14th March that fact was further endorsed.

Ellie Fong and Wong Chin Yau, the tenth seeds in the Cadet Girls’ Team event and the third highest rated outfit in their first stage group, upset the odds to secure first place.......More
