Wang Liqin gives the Chinese Fans something to cheer about

The two men’s qualification final matches were far from as exciting as the Women’s matches prior to them.  Democratic Republic of Korea’s KIM Hyok Bong defeated his own countryman very easily four games to zero while China’s Wang Liqin was also unstoppable in defeating Chinese Taipei’s CHIANG Peng Lung by the same margin.

On the TV table and after waiting for the previous Women’s marathon to end Wang Liqin made very little work of Chinese Taipei’s CHIANG Peng Lung. The match although starting approximately 30 minutes behind schedule took no longer than 30 minutes to end. The current World Singles Champion was in invincible form and obviously did not want to give his adversary any chance. Perhaps also not wanting to join his team mate WANG Nan in needing to come back the next day to compete.
